I’ve been trying to do some knitting but every time I get my machine out this happens 🤣🤣 xx

I know I’ve been a little M.I.A., so I wanted to pop in with a quick update and share what I’ve been working on. I’ve been spending most of my time at the hospital because my husband went into sudden cardiac arrest on November 2nd. He’s still recovering, and we’re taking things day by day. Knitting has honestly been my anchor through all of this. Since my Addi is a little too noisy for the hospital, I’ve been using my knitting looms so I can sit quietly by his bed and still create. While I’ve been there, I finished two hats... Each with its own little story: Hat #1 Loops & Threads Classic Bo Peep I gifted this one to one of the desk secretaries on my husband’s floor. She has been unbelievably kind to me during this whole ordeal, and I wanted to thank her with something handmade and heartfelt. Hat #2 I Love This Yarn (Hobby Lobby) in black This one is for my daughter. After everything I’ve made this year, she finally asked me to make her something, so of course, I jumped on it. It felt good to make something just for her. I’ve missed being active here, but I’m still knitting, still creating, and still hanging in there. Just wanted to share these little pieces of comfort I’ve made and let you all know I’m still around. 💛🧶
