Salvaging once again
So I finally gave the Addi 46 another try. Broke another pin 19 rows in and said to myself you’re not frogging another project. So what I could salvage, I’m just crocheting on rows. I’ll have Campbell try it on Monday, hopefully it will turn into something she can wear, if not, something for my Cabbage Patch doll. I’m wondering now if the problem is the way I wound the yarn. Once I change the pin, I will try with a regular skein of yarn on Monday. Update - on the ride to Baltimore, MD yesterday, I normally sit in the passenger front seat, but I was in the second row with Campbell and Sullivan. I had my project with me, so I was able to add several more rows. Decided I better stop because she definitely needs to try this on. A friend called me today and said she was at Michaels and saw some purple tulle that she wanted to get for Campbell. I said perfect, I'll add that to the bottom of her dress. Project is put on hold now until next week. After looking at projects created by gave me the idea to try some tulle too.
