I finally was able to pick up some yarn. I wasn't going to. I was on a self-imposed hiatus to save money. But I needed yarn! I had nothing but scraps and small balls of random colors. So I went out and bought some. Now, I've tried starting this project 5 times. I got 60+ rows done, plus a color change with another 15 rows, then another color change... about 5 more rows in, I see a dropped stitch. But it's several rows back, and I can't seem to master picking up dropped stitches. So I frog it and start again.
Attempt 2: About 35 rows in, dropped 2 stitches side by side. Frogged.
Attempt 3: I'm starting to swear😠 at my machine. "Why the F won't you work?!?" Only 8 rows in, dropped stitch and a few hooks away is a tucked stitch.
Attempt 4: Now I'm begging... 🥺"Please just work right. Please just work right. Please, please, please!!!!!!" Made it to 27 rows in before I found yet another tucked stitch. I could live with that... Until 4 more rows and I found a dropped stitch that I hadn't spotted and it was pulled down about 10 rows.
Attempt 5: Near tears now, 😭"I just want you to work! Why won't you work for me? You LIKE this yarn! Why are you hating me right now?" Ugh... 16 rows in... dropped stitch.
About ready to ditch the Sentro and get the Addi46. I can't keep getting these annoyances... It's stressful.
