🍁❤️ HAPPY CANADIAN THANKSGIVING — FROM MY HEART TO YOURS! ❤️🍁

Today is Thanksgiving here in Canada, and I've been thinking about just how much I have to be thankful for.

And I wanted to take a few minutes to share some of those things with all of you. ❤️

🧶 THANKFUL FOR A FAMILY THAT HAS ALWAYS BELIEVED IN ME

I've been a crafter for almost my entire life. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was just five years old, and creativity has been part of who I am ever since.

But one of the greatest blessings in my life has been having a family that has always supported my creative adventures and entrepreneurial dreams.

And believe me, there have been a LOT of adventures! 😂

My family has never looked at my crafting as just a hobby.

They've encouraged me to try new things, develop new skills, start businesses and follow the ideas that sometimes seem a little crazy at first!

And over the years, whenever there was an expensive crafting machine I had my heart set on, my family would often pool their money together to help me get it. ❤️

They knew those machines weren't simply toys to me. They were opportunities to learn, create, dream and sometimes build something much bigger.

I don't think they always knew exactly what I was going to do with the next machine...

And to be fair, sometimes neither did I! 🤣

But they believed in me anyway.

Having people who believe in your dreams, even before those dreams become something tangible, is a gift beyond measure.

And I am so very thankful for that.

❤️ AND THEN THERE IS THIS COMMUNITY...

As we approach the FIRST ANNIVERSARY of Circular Machine Knitting, I find myself feeling especially emotional about what we've built together.

When I started CMK, I had hopes and dreams for what this community could become.

But what I didn't fully realize was just how much YOU would come to mean to me.

You're not just names on a membership list.

You're real people with families, challenges, dreams, talents, struggles and stories.

I've watched beginners gain confidence and make things they never thought possible.

I've watched experienced knitters generously share their knowledge.

I've watched members encourage one another through difficult times, celebrate accomplishments, answer questions and form genuine friendships.

And I've watched people step outside their comfort zones and discover abilities they didn't even know they had.

THAT is what makes this community so special.

It's not the number of members we have.

It's not our ranking on Skool.

It's not even the patterns, classes or courses.

It's the PEOPLE. It's YOU. ❤️

🥹 EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU MATTERS TO ME

Whether you're someone who comments on almost every post, someone who quietly reads and learns, someone who has been here since the beginning, or someone who joined us yesterday...

I want you to know that you matter to me.

I am thankful for every question you ask, every project you share, every encouraging word you offer and every bit of trust you place in me and this community.

You have given me the opportunity to share something I've loved since childhood with people from all over the world.

And you've given me something just as precious in return...

A community of people I genuinely care about.

There are days when life gets overwhelming, when I'm exhausted, or when things don't go according to plan.

And then I come into CMK, see what you're creating, read your conversations, or watch one member helping another...

And I'm reminded why I love doing this so much. ❤️

🍁 MY THANKSGIVING WISH FOR YOU

Today, I'm thanking God for the family who has always believed in me, for the opportunities I've been given, and for every single one of you who has become part of this journey.

I hope you know how much I appreciate you.

And whether you're celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving today or it's just another Monday wherever you live, I hope you'll take a moment to recognize something wonderful in your own life.

Because sometimes, in the busyness of everything we're trying to accomplish, we forget to appreciate just how blessed we really are.
