SIMPLE PROCESS: 101 WITH CINEMATIC VIDEO MAKING
Most people start AI video with a prompt.
I think that’s already too late.
A cinematic video doesn’t begin with a prompt.
It begins with a clear idea, a visual direction, and a sense of what the audience should feel.
The prompt is just the final step.
Before that, there should be a simple process:
**Idea → Content → Script → Concept → Storyboard → Shot List → Prompt → Render → Review**
That’s the difference between generating a random cool video and actually directing one.
AI can create images.
AI can create motion.
AI can create effects.
But it still needs someone to decide the moment, the mood, the camera, the rhythm, and the impact.
That’s where cinematic thinking comes in.
Don’t just ask:
“What prompt should I write?”
Ask:
“What moment am I trying to direct?”
That’s where AI video making really starts.
