My first chuggable distortion pedal was the Arion Stereo Diatortion in 1989.

It is in between the crunch and bark of a rock rhythm tone and the buzz and sustain of the fuzz.

Chugging depends greatly on the distortion tone, the type and how you dial.

As far as I remember, I came across the word 'chugging' back in the early 90s. It was from a magazine. Max Cavalera said that he taught Alex Newport 'chugging riffs'.

I have chugged for 36 years since 1989. Whether it was Fractured Skull, Manifest or Urbankarma, the common factor in those groups I founded is The Chugg. That factor is now continued in Chugga Ritual. Now I am taking The Chugg to the next level. Knowledge transferring it to those who wish to learn, here on Skool.
