My Journey: From Prescription Pills to Natural Kratom
My name is Christopher, and my relationship with kratom began out of necessity, not business. When I was eight years old, I was hit by a car accident that broke both of my legs and damaged my back and shoulders. From that day on, pain became part of my daily life.
Doctors prescribed opioids when I was just eleven years old, and I took them for over fifteen years. They helped me function, but they also numbed everything: my energy, focus, and sense of self. Coming from a family rooted in natural healing, I had tried everything: herbal remedies, vitamins, supplements, and alternative therapies. Nothing worked long-term.
Then, in 2015, I discovered kratom leaf tea. At first, I didn’t expect much. But twenty minutes after drinking that first cup, my pain dropped from an eight to a three. My body relaxed, my mood lifted, and my mind felt clear and steady. For someone who also lives with ADHD, that mental calm was life-changing.
That single experience changed the course of my life.

Six months later, I founded Christopher’s Organic Botanicals with a straightforward goal: to make pure, natural kratom available to others who needed it, while educating the public about safe, traditional use.
I built relationships directly with Indonesian farmers’ families who have cultivated and used kratom for generations. These partnerships aren’t based on profit margins, but on trust and shared values. Our farmers harvest the leaves by hand, dry them naturally, and ship them directly to us for testing and packaging in the United States.
That direct connection ensures quality and authenticity. We don’t rely on middlemen. We know our farms, our farmers, and the communities that make this plant possible.
