Setting up a watercolor workspace
Studio Saturday!
You don't need a fancy studio to create beautiful work — but a few simple habits make a BIG difference:
• Two water jars: one to rinse dirty brushes, one for clean mixing water. Change them often!
• Paper matters: 100% cotton, cold-press, at least 140lb. Everything else fights you.
• A piece of scrap paper next to your work — test every color wash before it hits your painting.
• Tilt your board slightly to control how paint flows.
