Donโ€™t Goal it Alone
I have learned from experience that most of the time our goal achievement process is not a solo endeavor. Of course our goals are very personal, but the bigger the goal, the more likely that some guidance, instruction, and/or teamwork will come into play. Let me tell you about my friend, Red. He had a goal to write a book someday. In fact, he had a packet of manila folders that contained a couple of rough drafts of manuscripts. His problemโ€ฆ he had no idea how to publish a book. He asked around to others he knew who had written a book, and the costs they told him seemed out of reach. Long story short, he found out that I write and self-publish books on Amazon and asked me if I thought I could help him. We had our first meeting just 4 months ago when he gave me his manila folders to review. I could see this was something I could help him with and I sent him a quote, he approved, and I got to work. Today Chico and I went to Redโ€™s place and took some videos and photos of him unboxing his first order of books. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Red had kept praying over his goal to publish his stories, trusting that somehow God would make a way. I had kept praying over my goal to get a client that I could help publish a book. Our trust in God to lead us in the right direction, to learn the necessary things, to cross paths with the right people, and our willingness to accept help is essential to achieving our goals. โžก๏ธ Was there a time when someone unexpectedly stepped in and helped you achieve a goal?

Daily Dance Party! (Day 1)
I believe that my renewed commitment to making my body move, sweat, and circulate must include danceable tunes! ๐Ÿชฉ๐ŸŽถ Just completed 30+ minutes of musical movement. (No waltzing here-club dance mix all the way!) My dancercise goals: lower cholesterol, lower A1C, lower weight. (I still need to record exact beginning and target numbers in my journal.) I made a little change to one of our Categories: I changed Goals Progress to Daily Wins. Sometimes I think it helps to be able to tell somebody what we just did, such as: I walked 5000 steps today! or I read 5 pages a day for a week! You know, stuff like that. Letโ€™s post our daily wins and cheer each other on! *\o/*

I'm using this info to create the best tools possible to support you in your goal setting efforts. I'm so excited about the forward momentum we can achieve together! Hereโ€™s what I want you to know as you answer thisโ€ฆ There is no โ€œwrongโ€ place to be. You may be full of ideas but not sure where to start. Maybe you started strong and lost momentum somewhere along the way. Or you may be quietly wondering if itโ€™s even possible anymore.
