In the next few days, ignore and delete: Anyone offering to "recover" your hacked/lost crypto for a fee. Not everyone can reverse a crypto theft. It's usually a lie. Messages telling you to "move funds to a custom dedicated safe wallet" or claim "compensation" by connecting your wallet or entering your seed phrase. Fake "official support" DMs. Real support never messages you first. None of them were foolish. That's the part that always gets me. I've watched teachers, retired engineers, small business owners — people who are careful with everything else in life — make the same handful of mistakes in crypto. Not because they're not smart.
