Official Minas Safety Notice
⚠️ Heads up, Minas fam — quick safety note
You may be seeing headlines about a "$35M crypto hack in 6 hours." We checked it — it's a real news event (four DeFi protocols hit on 23 July, confirmed by CoinDesk and on-chain security firms). Good to know it's not fake. But here's the part that matters for YOU: the hack won't take your money — the scams that follow it will. After every real hack, scammers come out in force. In the next few days, ignore and delete: Anyone offering to "recover" your hacked/lost crypto for a fee. Not everyone can reverse a crypto theft. It's usually a lie. Messages telling you to "move funds to a custom dedicated safe wallet" or claim "compensation" by connecting your wallet or entering your seed phrase. Fake "official support" DMs. Real support never messages you first. The one rule that keeps you safe: No real news ever needs you to connect your wallet, share your seed phrase/private key, or pay to "protect" your funds. If a message asks for any of those three — it's a scam. Delete it. Bitcoin and Ethereum themselves were NOT hacked, and your wallet is not at risk from this event. When in doubt, drop it here and ask before you click anything. 🛡 READ THE FULL DETAILS IN THE PDF!!!

I've Watched Smart People Lose Money in Crypto. Here's What They Had in Common.
None of them were foolish. That's the part that always gets me. I've watched teachers, retired engineers, small business owners — people who are careful with everything else in life — make the same handful of mistakes in crypto. Not because they're not smart. Because nobody ever sat them down and told them what to actually watch out for. So let me do that for you now, before it costs you anything. Here are ten mistakes I've watched good, smart people make — so you don't have to: 1. Investing money they couldn't afford to lose, out of fear of missing out. 2. Trusting a random stranger's advice in a comment section over their own judgment. 3. Not writing down or securing recovery phrases — and losing everything because of it. 4. Panic-selling the moment the news got scary. 5. Chasing whatever coin was trending that week instead of learning the fundamentals. 6. Ignoring taxes and recordkeeping until it became a real headache 7. Assuming every "opportunity" that reaches out to them is legitimate. 8. Trying to learn everything at once instead of one honest step at a time. 9. Letting embarrassment stop them from asking basic questions. 10. Waiting for "the perfect moment" that never actually comes. If even one of those hit close to home, you're not alone. Every person I know in this space, myself included, has lived at least one of them. Here's what I've noticed, though. It's never really the mistake itself that hurts people the most. It's the silence around it. Nobody talks about the money they lost trusting the wrong stranger online. Nobody posts about the recovery phrase they lost. So everyone quietly assumes they're the only one who got it wrong — and that assumption keeps them from ever asking for help. You don't have to learn this the hard way. That's really the whole point of what we're doing this week. We put together five free nights, about an hour each, where we walk through exactly this kind of thing — plainly, patiently, without judgment. Just to help you avoid the mistakes that have cost other good people real money and real peace of mind.
