Successfully teaching piano to adults (beginners and furthering education), since 2002. BA in Piano Performance, Temple University 1998. There are advantages to learning the piano as an adult compared to learning the piano as a child. Adults tend to learn complicated tasks faster, compared to a child’s capacity to learn and memorize information, and then apply it (perform it), on a musical instrument. Also, adults would rather play their favorite songs they have enjoyed listening to throughout their lives. I will give you the sheet music of your favorite song (even some classical music titles), to learn, and I will teach you how to play them. I have hundreds of popular songs to choose from, and if I don’t have it on my computer to share with you, I can certainly find it for you at no extra charge. Online piano lessons are at your disposal.
