I am not my mom and dad!!
I came south to live free! That’s the opposite of what has happened in history, but I have the opposite kind of story! I was escaping slavery, disguised as marriage. God will reward you for leaving an abusive situation. You CAN leave, and you will survive!

I am not my mom and dad!!
Be Done With Self sabotage
OK, so yesterday I got in my feelings over some things that happened in my personal and work life. I had to make a quick decision to follow a different mindset. And here’s what I came up with. It doesn’t make sense to choose feelings over earning money. Meaning I was getting ready to go ride the seawall on my scooter instead of doing what I need to do to go to the next level in my business. But a friend made sure to point out to me that that was ridiculous. That means every time something happens emotionally. I’m gonna choose that over making my dream come true? No I don’t think so. New mindset! I flipped the script and here is what I came up with as a result: I wanted to go see what qualifications you have to have to get a yes to an SBA loan. Not just to get the loan but to get the YES!! I want a food trailer that I could move around Galveston and sell my clean organic treats to people as a healthier option. So here is my new mindset: Oh, I’m bout to go get my DBA (Doing business as- this is a document that you need to get your chosen name locked down in the state that you live in. You also need one before you can get an LLC or before you can get a business bank account.) As soon as I get my DBA, I could have a business bank account and I can show the kind of sales I’ve been getting from my buckeyes. And I’m gonna work my way into the LLC and then I’m getting an SBA loan for food truck. I want to do a chocolate food truck. But the level in between includes a commercial ghost kitchen where I can begin offering my yummy treats on Uber eats and DoorDash and Postmates. See I’ve got a business plan and God’s gonna help me get it. Your dream turns into reality when you start talking about it like it’s a reality. Your speech and mindset actually bring it to life. It’s your choice to stay locked in on the end result or to let other people talk you out of it. I say don’t listen to them and make your dream happen right now. We need help as everything is expensive these days anyway.

The tide is high & I’m movin’ on up!!!
This week I started praying blessings over my business every day, and I really want to encourage y’all to do the same. ✨🙏💖 Yesterday after I left my barista shift, TWO boxes of my buckeyes sold while I wasn’t even there. 🍫☕ Then someone from a Facebook group here in Galveston ordered two dozen from the West End! 🌴📲 And now a repeat customer wants me to try making protein balls because she trusts the way I make treats already. 💪🥜😂 Sometimes blessings show up quietly… one order, one customer, and one new opportunity at a time. ✨🙌 Pray over your business! If God’s not in your business, then it’s defaulting to the enemy. And he is wanting you to fail. Stay prayed up and if you don’t believe to try it anyways because you will, and you may not like your paradigm changing, but prayer works!!

💰🥜 BUCKEYE BUSINESS MATH
tiny treats… BIG potential. 👀 A lot of people don’t realize this, but homemade buckeyes can have surprisingly strong profit margins when you keep your ingredients simple and buy smart. Example 👇✨ Estimated overhead per buckeye: about $0.45✨ Packaging cost: around $0.30 to $0.50 each depending on boxes, labels & presentation That means your total cost might land around 💵 $0.75 to $0.95 per buckeye packaged and ready to sell. Now imagine selling: 🥜 2 for $5 🥜 6 for $12 🥜 12 for $20 That’s where learning pricing, presentation, and branding becomes the secret sauce. 🌴📦🍫 You do NOT need a giant bakery to start. Sometimes all it takes is a kitchen, consistency, and a recipe people dream about at midnight. 😅✨ Inside this Skool community, I’m teaching the real-life side of buckeye selling:✔️ pricing✔️ packaging✔️ ingredient sourcing✔️ local selling ideas✔️ beginner mistakes to avoid✔️ how I got started from scratch Tiny peanut butter balls… surprisingly serious business. 🥜

💰🥜 BUCKEYE BUSINESS MATH
This is the video that I learned from.
I don’t use this exact recipe anymore, but I absolutely wanted to start with a large batch of 100. I have since cut the recipe in half and that’s plenty for me to sell at the coffee shop where I live in Galveston Texas. Sometimes I only dip half of them and then I leave the other half naked in the freezer until I’m ready to use them. The shelf life is indefinite if they’re in the freezer. If you don’t want to dip them right away store them in an airtight container in your freezer.
