Stop "sliding" your feet.
Clean footwork isn't about speed; it's about weight transfer.
The Mistake: You move your feet, but your body weight stays in the middle. This makes your footwork look "floaty" or "ghost-like."
The Trainee Fix: Every step must have a 100% weight commitment. If you move your left foot, your center of gravity must move with it.
Practice: Slow down your favorite footwork to 0.5x speed. If you can't balance on one foot during the transition, your weight transfer is broken.
