Have You Ever Heard of Chess Studies?
Do you know what chess studies are? They’re one of the most fascinating parts of chess composition, and I’m curious if you’ve seen any interesting ones.
Simplifying to a winning endgame
Happy with this todays game Game link Just finished this game — I missed a couple of strategic ideas along the way (I saw them pushing there b pawn as an issue for my knight but I didn’t think to push a pawn and prevent it but then they traded that away for me), but overall I’m pleased with how it turned out — especially the knight fork and exchange sacrifice at the end. Any thoughts?

🏆 Legendary Rivalry: Kasparov vs Karpov
During the Cold War, their matches were seen as symbolic political duels: - Karpov represented discipline and the Soviet establishment. - Kasparov symbolized innovation, freedom, and reform. Despite their fierce rivalry, both players later developed mutual respect for each other. 💬 Question for you: Do you think you share more traits with Karpov’s discipline or Kasparov’s creativity and drive for change?
