If you've been meaning to spend more time together... read this!
I don't love selling in here. That's never been the point of this space, but I also realized something... Some of you don't actually know what I offer, and more importantly, how simple it is to use. So I'm just going to let you know that I have created something new in the classroom. It's kind of always been there, but I'm revamping it and recreating it. The truth is, many couples don't struggle because they don't care. They struggle because they're busy, they're tired, and by the end of the day, no one wants to plan anything, so nothing happens. That's exactly why I created Chef's Kiss Date Night Cooking Classes inside this community! You'll find it in the classroom tab. It's simple. Every month, I run one to two guided cooking date nights. You don't plan anything; just pick a night, grab the ingredients, press play, and do it together! That's it. Not perfection. No stress. Just a done-for-you date night... and we should all have more date nights. Plus, it's easy enough that you'll actually do it. It's $27 a month for now. No pressure. Just wanted to let you know it's there. DFY Date nights. Perfect for busy couples who love food and each other! (And… if you want a test drive… drop ITALY in the comments and I’ll send you my Italian themed Date Night cooking class ❤️ to get the Chef’s Kiss experience!)

Here, or DM, I’ve got you ❤️ I’m going to make strawberry ice cream this weekend, and probably pretzels and blueberry muffins. I feel like baking🥨

Is cooking a dying art form?
I often ask myself if the younger generations are learning to cook, and I feel like they aren't. Not the way I cooked or my parents cooked, it just seems to be a lot of fast and efficient cooking, maybe take out maybe processed food. My kids know how to cook, obviously, because I've taught them, but I know that there are a lot of parents my age or a bit younger who don't cook that much and who don't teach their kids the art of preparing food. And of course that's why I created Take Out To Real Meals In 30 Days. We all appreciate food, and we create our own meals, but I hear so many young people say, "I don't know how to cook. I need to learn how to cook." I think there's a real need for some basic cooking skills in the younger generations. Today I will record the first/intro video for Take Out To Real Meals In 30 Days. I'm going to teach my daughter, Riley, how to roast a chicken. Absolutely simple process, can be prepped in under 10 minutes, and create a delicious meal with leftovers that can be repurposed into many things. Of course I wanted to do it with my son, but it's like trying to grasp smoke... He said he'd do it, but tying him down is next to impossible! So today we have the Olympian! As always, when I complete the video, I'll pop it in here so you can see what we're up to. While I'm sure most of you know how to roast a chicken, sometimes it's fun to see how other people do things. What's your favorite simple comfort food meal? Something you can create without a recipe that's always satisfying?

Last Minute Lily!
My mom always used to use this expression for me so it seems appropriate here. Last minute, Lily… Waiting till the last moment to do something or accomplish anything ha ha ha. Mother’s Day is just around the corner, some of you may have grand ideas, some of you may have no clue, some of you may be sitting back and wondering if anyone else is planning something. Last night I got a call from my son saying “Mother. What are your plans for Sunday?” to which I of course replied that I was keeping my dance card open just in case somebody wanted to do something with me :). He suggested coming over for the day to spend with me, and in the evening, making his famous sausage pasta which he has not yet made for me, but which I have consulted on roughly 397 times 🤣 (when I can tie that boy down I’m gonna teach him more!) Anyways, so I now have plans for Mother’s Day. Do you? For those of you who are not familiar with my Italian date night cooking experience, I tweaked it a little bit to make it a Mother’s Day experience. If any of you would love to spend the evening cooking with your mom, or have someone you can send it to as a hint 😜 hint, let me know I’d love to share it with you! Think of it like a free sample at Costco… ❤️ Happy Mother’s Day 😘😘
