The 'just build your own version' era is actually here

Watched a breakdown where someone built a personal AI chess coach with Claude Code in a couple of hours. It reviews every game, learns your weaknesses, and drills you on them, basically a $500/hr coach for free.

The bigger point is not chess. The same approach replaces a lot of the subscriptions people pay for every month. If you can describe it, you can build it and own it.
