Make your morning phone and scrolling free like your life depends on it
Cuz it does.
One thing that helped me currently was listening to Mel Robbins podcast and taking one important lesson I haven't heard anywhere else.
DO NOT SCROLL in the morning. There's a whole neuroscience behind it (which I will explain when I get some members here and can start live streamings).
Make your morning slow. Maybe get up 15 minutes earlier so you can have these 15 minutes for yourself instead of throwing your brain right into online drama and cheap quick dopamine.
Rewiring your brain while living stressful life is very important and you cannot do it without giving your brain time and space to rewire.
Have your favourite morning drink, stare out of the window, find something stimulating that makes your soul feel a tiny bit of peace. Maybe listen to some classical music (which is scientifically proven to be beneficial for brain). And stretch. Even for a minute. Release that tension in your muscles and bones that is cumulating there every day. You don't need a mat. You just need to do a few stretching movements in your bed. Let the blood flow and oxygen come...
Just try for one or three days.
And let me know in the comments how you feel.
Cuz honestly, even when I'm spiraling in survival mode, those 15 or 30 minutes feels like I'm living in a different world.
It's the only moment my body feels relaxed. After so long. And that's what we aim for. Teaching our brain that feeling relaxed is ok. So it doesn't constantly look for things to stress about.
