Dear God, Our Father Who is in Heaven, You “are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Long suffering and abundant in mercy and truth” (Psalm 86:15 NKJV). Thank You for another day, a gift we can only receive from You. Throughout our time in this world we experience tribulations and blessings. Thank You for Your Word that teaches and encourages us to “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV). Whether it’s a day of trials or blessings, help us learn to be thankful, and “rejoice and be glad in it.” Thank You Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
