Hello folks... I'm using Claude Code locally in VS Code and applied the "AI Business OS" framework to my workspace. Now I can run reports on the status of my projects by entering /status command and Claude pulls the info from the state.json file, recent Git activity and other "memory" related files. The AI Business OS helps me create projects from scratch using the /newproject command. It instructs Claude to set up the internal folder structure, including the CLAUDE.md for the project and other project specifications, such as the PRD. I can decide what the project is and where it lives in the folder hierarchy. Here is an example of a report I can run by simply typing /status. Claude now remembers where I was with a project much better than it could out-of-the-box.
I built this framework and methodology from personal needs. Claude Code is brilliant, but it doesn't come with a structure...we have to create that ourselves. If you are a developer, you might need something more sophisticated, but if you are a bricks and mortar business or you are a knowledge worker, this structure might help you put reins on Claude Code.
Alright...Slán for now!
