You crouch beside the rug and cautiously lift one corner.
Beneath it lies a heavy iron trapdoor set into the floor.
The metal surface is cold and damp to the touch.
A thick iron lock secures the handle.
Hanging from the lock is a small wooden sign reading:
TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO SPINACH
You stare at this for several moments.
Somewhere below the trapdoor, you think you hear faint movement.
Before you can investigate further, a fresh wave of spinach gently spreads across part of the floor beside you.
The hut creaks ominously.
You decide it may be wise to leave before the situation becomes significantly greener and return to the circular entrance chamber.
You cannot enter the hut again during this dungeon visit. Although to be honest, no-one can really stop you.
