Introduction
I’m Sheik Astin Simmons Bey, 35 y.o American native to Chicago. I started my journey as a founder helping founders find capital and create GTM strategies. After five years of watching investors take equity and leave entrepreneurs empty, I decided to flip the model. Now, as Executive Director of FundExecs Collective, I focus on buying and scaling companies that deserve to grow beyond their founder. We target $1M+ EBITDA businesses, because that’s where real value lives solid cash flow, strong people, proven systems. FundExecs isn’t about exits it’s about empire-building. If that resonates, DM me lets set up an intro call to see how we can work together.

The life changer
This isn,t just Alexs story. It’s the story of anyone willing to take the leap. E-commerce dropshipping is not a get rich quick scheme, it’s a skill, a mindset, and a vehicle for freedom. If you’re tired of limits and ready to build a lifestyle on your own terms, the journey starts the life you dream of? Alex was just like most people. Waking up early, rushing to a 9–5 job, and wondering if life was really meant to be this cycle: work, bills, sleep, repeat. The paycheck barely covered expenses, and dreams of travel, freedom, and financial independence always felt just out of reach. One night, scrolling through the internet, Alex stumbled upon a video about e-commerce and dropshipping. The idea sounded too good to be true, Create an online store. Partner with suppliers to ship products directly. Focus on marketing and customer experience, not stockpiling inventory. At first, Alex was skeptical. What if it doesn’t work? What if I fail? But something inside whispered What if it does work? So Alex started small. No fancy office. Just a laptop, WiFi, and a burning desire to change life. The first store wasn’t perfect there were mistakes, failed ads, and even moments of doubt. But Alex kept learning, testing, and improving. Then came the first sale. That tiny You’ve got an order notification was life changing. It wasn’t just about the $30 profit it was proof that this dream was possible. Weeks turned into months, and sales grew. Alex reinvested profits, built better systems, and began to understand the power of marketing and branding. Soon, the income from the store matched the 9–5 salary. And not long after, Alex made the bold decision quit the job and go all-in on e-commerce. Life changed completely. Now Alex wakes up without an alarm, works from coffee shops, and travels while runarening the business from anywhere in the world. Dropshipping wasn’t just about selling products—it was about buying freedom, time, and choice.are you ready to be part of the successful?

Your Capital Strategy Is Why You’re Broke or Funded
If your capital strategy is: 👉 “Ask friends and family if they’re interested…” 👉 “Wait until I have a deal to start raising…” 👉 “Hope someone wires after I send a PDF…” You don’t have a strategy. You have a prayer. Here’s what real capital closers do: ✅ Build a Capital Identity — who they raise from, why they’re trusted ✅ Document their journey (publicly) before they ask for a dime ✅ Pre-frame deals with confidence, not desperation ✅ Track investor convos like deal leads — CRM > memory ✅ Follow up even when there’s no deal to offer (that’s leadership) ✅ Have 3-4 pitch structures depending on the investor’s appetite 🧠 Capital is not closed with pressure. It’s closed with certainty. If you want more than one-time wires, build a capital system.
