Touring Off Market Properties Etiquette - TIPS for all
Friendly reminder - ON market properties vs. OFF market are very different. Things to be aware of;
- Don't overcomplicate - ramming info like the seller is an agent is a NO GO.
- Listen - talk less and just listen and then comeback later.
- The most important thing you can do is SEE the property. Don't give a number first. The person showing it needs to show it first. Giving a number first - you may not get a chance to see the property at all.
- Be easy to work with - even if it's a YES or NO. Don't be known as a problem maker.
- Don't share addresses with others unless you have permission.
