Stage4 renal cancer: in one kidney, and in the liver.

Results of Friday 13th Dec, 2024.

Very few blood tests were done. I’d asked the nurse to add cholesterol along with lipids (HDL, Triglycerides, LDL). She said she would, but lipids weren’t done, so I have no Triglycerides to look at. Nor was FBC/CBC done. I feel like telling them not to bother doing any blood tests. 🙄

The results were given earlier this wk when I attended an oncology appt. A snr. registrar said it was good news and that not much had changed since the prev. scans (of late summer 2024).

They stopped putting tumour measurements in my MRI scan reports a long while ago. Their excuse was/is that they don’t need to inc. measurements if not much has changed. Yes, they measure tumours when writing MRI reports, but they refuse to put those measurements (of 2 tumours) in MRI reports. They’ve said they’ll only put measurements in my MRI report, if/when there’s a significant change in tumour size/spread.
