It's that time! Spring Will Soon Be Springing
The time in between the last post and today has been spent devising a calendar and some 'organizational' plans so that this does become a resource that one day you can easily go to the topics and choose how you want to learn. For now, it seems everyone wants videos. While I am not a videographer I will do my best to offer some useful content along the lines of 20 minutes a week. Sometime it will vary on which topics will have new weekly content and I'll base this on Actual comments and more than a thumbs up. Videos, even amateur ones require a great deal of time and if the information isn't useful I would like to pare down and fine tune how you'd like to Learn. The videos w be linked to a YouTube channel because Skool uploads are very very very s l o w. And until it can easily upload big content like video this will be the format. 1. Video is uploaded at min for one topic ( eventually more based on viewer interactions ) weekly. Approx. 20 minutes 2. Open for questions posted here for seven days from Video posting or private questions to email wendy@bluebirdpfp.com 3. A few questions posted and Answers on the topic 4. Occasionally a link to hand outs and items I can purchase at my cost for you to purchase plus shipping ( handling is silly, I use recycled materials or flat rate USPS, unless you indicate otherwise. 5. Always a free gift if you get the special question of the week that is answered in the video for the first correct answer - sorry US shipping only ☹️ the tariffs make it ridiculous to send anything out of Country currently. 6. The Easter Egg question what size is the hemp sheet
Here’s To The Gardeners And The Gardens We Create
A garden can be both a real live soil under the fingernails, patch o weeds in the heat of the August sun or a metaphor for a particular life we want to cultivate. Mostly, I make real gardens; food, forage, reflections of beautiful places Ive visited or dreamed of seeing. This spring of 2025 it was Japan. Never ever in my wildest imaginings would I think I would not only delight but fall for a Country that was in Asia. I had no understanding of its grace and reverence for the natural world. The impeccable cleanliness, gentle and private kindness, and the exquisite gardens. There are gardens of Emperors of the 7th century BCE. Think on that for a moment. Gardens on castle grounds from before our Jewish Prophet walked the earth. And yet, without posturing and loud slogans and mega churches, I experienced more ‘connection’ to the Creator in these Temples and Shrines than any modern Americanized old time religion. Daily life was imbued with quiet introspection and rituals. Rituals one hundred percent about honor and hospitality or as the Christ taught Grace. Anyway, I really dig that regardless from whence we hail, we all meet under the same sun, the same spinning planet, and the same opportunity to really dive in and love this Gift we have all been given. I really wasn’t getting all churchy there but I have always felt far closer to my Creator, out in the natural world and if not that a farm or a garden. I have a friend who has a gorgeous home, well really a gorgeous life. Every year in her well appointed home and well appointed life, and I must say she and her wife are a couple of the good ones. They are generous, care for their neighbors in an age where a camera video is your only interaction with your neighbor. Anyway, every year she preforms the rituals of those of us who worship the actual Creation. We use our deep centered selves without even being aware and we Create. We plan, plant seed, and root and bulb, we believe without proof that with water and warmth, something will rise from the soil, and with a willing suspension of disbelief we continue to water, until without fanfare, no trumpets or parades a shoot appears. We have risen from the earth, life. How about that for a grumpy old agnostic! Anyway, I’m hoping for creating a bit of authenticity-the kind that comes with run on sentences and brilliant ideas at 3am. I’m not too certain how all this works but this has been an incredible experience so far and I’m so ready for what’s next?
