✅Comments count. A lot.
In fact, for many women, commenting is the best place to start.
Below are the main ways to participate in this community, and real examples of what that can look like.
💬 GENERAL DISCUSSION (POSTS)
➡️Use this when you’re thinking out loud or noticing something.
Examples:
- “I just realized how automatic my evening snacking is.”
- “Does anyone else struggle more on weekends?”
- “This challenge is bringing up resistance I didn’t expect.”
👉 Observations are enough. You don’t need a takeaway.
👋 WELCOME + INTROS (POSTS AND COMMENTS)
➡️This is for saying hi—anytime, not just when you join.
Examples:
- “I joined because I’m tired of starting over.”
- “I’ve been reading posts but this is my first comment.”
- “I’m 62 and trying to build consistency differently this time.”
👉 Short is fine. Late is fine. Nervous is fine.
🎉 WINS & CELEBRATIONS (POSTS & COMMENTS)
➡️Wins are often much smaller than you think.
Posting a win:
- “I paused before eating, even though I still ate.”
- “I noticed the urge without arguing with myself.”
Commenting on a win:
- “This helped me realize I’m doing this too.”
- “I love how specific this is.”
- “I needed to read this today.”
👉 Celebrating others reinforces your own progress.
🧪 CHALLENGES (POSTS OR CHECK-IN COMMENTS)
➡️This is for anything challenge-related.
Examples:
- “Today felt harder than yesterday.”
- “I’m doing this imperfectly, but I’m doing it.”
- “Here’s what surprised me today.”
👉 Commenting counts just as much as posting.
💡QUICK TIPS (POSTS OR COMMENTS)
➡️Share something that helped you—no expertise required.
Examples:
- “Putting my shoes by the door reduced resistance.”
- “I stopped aiming for done and aimed for started.”
👉 If it worked once, it’s worth sharing.
🙋♀️ ASK + SHARE (POSTS OR COMMENTS)
➡️Questions, curiosity, or “is this just me?” moments.
Examples:
- “What helps you in the evening?”
- “Does anyone else hit a wall around 7 pm?”
👉 Curiosity drives connection here.
🤝PEER SUPPORT (COMMENTS ESPECIALLY WELCOME HERE)
➡️This is one of the most powerful ways to participate.
Examples of great comments:
- “You’re not behind; this makes sense.”
- “I related so much to this.”
- “Thank you for saying this out loud.”
- “Just wanted you to know you’re not alone.”
👉 You don’t need advice. Presence is enough.
