You don’t win arguments!⚠️
Hello Members,
Today’s Quote is from the book How To Win Friends and Influence People.
As wise old Ben Franklin used to say:
“If you argue and wrinkle and contradict, you may achieve a victory sometimes; but it will be an empty victory because you will never get your opponents good will.”
So figure it out for yourself. Which would you rather have, an academic, theatrical victory or a person’s good will? You can seldom have both.
-Dale Carnegie
Analysis:
Something I have struggled with my entire life, is being intimidating or aggressive when I talk. Sometimes I didn’t even have confidence and still noticed I pushed people away. I have found that nearly being the beta with facts to prove your competence, having an easy-going persona, and avoiding arguments will draw the good will of others your way.

I find that getting my way gets me further in the long run.
I’ve realized arguing is not productive.
I don’t get this..?
