MYTH#5: You Can’t Have Both a Family and a Serious Construction Career The myth: Construction demands long hours, unpredictable schedules, and frequent travel. No woman can balance that with family responsibilities. You have to choose.
It's something that society deals with and having time flexibility is something that construction, renovation, building and project management have in spades. I don't think that is gender specific, One of the best industries for working, family and parenting is building. Case dismissed.
