Build A Thinking Child by Age 10 (BTC10) is a community for parents, homeschool families and educators who are actively involved in supporting children’s learning and are curious about how strong thinking habits begin to develop during the early years.
Research and classroom experience consistently show that the years before age 10 are a particularly important developmental window, when many of the habits that support learning and thinking begin to take shape.
Inside this community, we explore questions that both parents and educators often notice in everyday learning situations.
Many of these situations are not simply about knowing the right answer. They are connected to how the brain processes information through attention, memory and reasoning.
