Each set is triple-oiled, and triple-sanded, finishing off with a 400grit to give them an ultra-smooth finish and exotic purple lustre.

The crazy part is, the purple color is completely natural. When you first sand Purple Heart, it is a dull brown color. Then, come back a day later, and the oils inside the wood oxidize to give it a rich purple finish.

Some of these Purpleheart Hybrid Kali even have “figuring” which is super rare. Only 1% of wood has this phenomenon which makes the light refract in a way that makes it almost look liquid.
