How do you talk to yourself during and after a workout?
Do you say things like “I did so good!” or “I’m crushing it!” or “I’m getting so strong!” 👍
Or do you say things like “Ugh I’ll never be able to do these moves” or “I suck at this.” 👎
We can’t talk about compassion without being aware of how we talk to ourselves! You’re doing something that a lot of people won’t do! You’re trying hard, you’re doing your best, you’re pushing yourself, you’re incredible! 👏 You’re taking care of the body you have! Yay!
Be proud of the effort you’re putting in and watch your self-talk! Would you say something to a friend who was talking that way about themselves? They don't do it to yourself. Make sure you’re talking to yourself with kindness and pride and joy! 💖
