OpenAI just dropped Agent Builder, and I’ve spent the last 18 hours learning everything about it.
Here’s what I found:
→ Build AI agent flows visually on a drag-and-drop canvas (Voiceflow vibes)
→ Map, test, and iterate on full conversations using built-in nodes
→ The pre-made templates are gold, study them to see how OpenAI structures complete flows.
I also just uploaded a 1-hour free course on YouTube showing:
→ How to open Agent Builder and create your first project
→ A tour of OpenAI’s templates (and when to use each)
→ A node-by-node walkthrough, inputs, routing, tool calls & memory
→ Building a full agent from scratch and testing it live
This looks to be perfect if you’re building support bots, internal agents or anything customer facing.
Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments (is this an n8n killer?)
