Namaste breath friends!
I've been running weekly online classes for about a month now and I've been playing a bit with adding extra sounds to the music (screams, singing bowls...). For my last session (yesterday) I was inspired to pre-mix the whole playlist with the added sounds so that I wouldn't have to play them manually and it worked pretty well... except when I got the timing wrong in my script! Still learning from my errors haha
Still it was super interesting to do, especially since this last journey was a bit of an experimental one. Inspired by my experience facilitating Yoga Nidra in which I usually guide people through adventures during the visualisation part, I decided to try it out during my breathing session too so that I could really create an emotional journey for the participants, and adding sounds to this really deepened the experience! I also instructed the breather to take it as if they were actors playing a role and to be expressive in their performance, to make the (imaginary) audience really believe them.
I like to call this a *Breathplay* journey, to bring more fun and lightness into an experience which can sometimes feel really heavy, without reducing the impact it has! Also the word "work" usually has a negative connotation so I'm trying to refrain from using it ;)
Finally I've been a bit frustrated with the sound quality I get through Zoom... Which inspired me to record my voice separately and mix it with the music, which is what I want to share with you all today!
Here is the recording of the full session (except the intro) whose theme was "From Fear to Love" with a voice activation practice at the beginning:
Passcode: Fk56qrc%
And here is the HQ mix of the journey (without the voice activation) which I remixed after the session to have all the sound effects be more syncronized with my guidance:
Next step would be to make it 9D but I haven't found out how to do that without affecting the sound quality yet...*
Thanks for reading this long post!
