Dao Yin is happening in 16 hours
The Breathe Feel Heal foundation is officially coming together
I’ve curated the Core Flow, the Foundational Exercises, and all of Module 1 to create a clearer starting point for the practice. If you’ve been wanting to begin, restart, or deepen your training, now is a great time to jump in. The goal of this work is not perfection. It’s practice. Breath by breath, movement by movement, we train awareness, emotional regulation, embodiment, and the ability to respond instead of react. More modules are on the way, but the foundation is here and ready to work with. Proud of how this community is growing. Thank you all for being part of it.
May Events
I wanted to reach out and say thank you for being here. You’re part of a small group of people I’m building this with, and that genuinely means something to me. Over the past few months, I’ve been putting more energy into Breathe Feel Heal—teaching, practicing, and figuring out how to share this work in a way that’s simple and real. Recently, I redesigned the online space into a more structured path. The focus is on helping you work with breath, body, and emotions in real time—so you can feel what’s happening and choose how you respond, instead of reacting automatically. And if you’d rather experience it in person, here’s what’s coming up: Weekly Classes Sundays, 11am — R&R in Abingdon Saturdays, 11am — Yoga Studio 723, Havre de Grace Events Ecstatic Animal Frolics May 2, 2pm Nature Everywhere Fest, Druid Hill Park Cultivating Yin through the Five Elements May 3, 4pm Haven, Havre de Grace Dao Yin May 30, 1:30pm Mindful You Yoga & Wellness, Dundalk There’s more on the way as things continue to grow. If you feel like staying connected, I’ll be sharing practices, events, and a bit more of what I’m learning as I go. —Davey

Happy Lunar New Year.
Today marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle — a reminder that life moves in rhythms, not straight lines. In Daoist philosophy, the Dao (often spelled Tao) simply means “the Way.” It’s the underlying pattern of change that moves through nature, through the seasons, and through our own lives. The opening line of the Dao De Jing says: “The Dao that can be named is not the eternal Dao.” To me, this feels especially meaningful at the start of a new year. We make plans, we set intentions, we name what we want — and yet the deeper unfolding of life is always more fluid than our concepts. The Dao invites us not to control the year ahead, but to move with it. To listen. To align. To participate in the flow of change rather than resist it. However you celebrate, I hope this new cycle brings steadiness, clarity, and renewed vitality. 🌿

How to use this community
1. Start in the Classroom Under Classroom, you’ll find a free Qigong routine and a Healing Sounds meditation. These are foundational practices. I recommend starting there and letting the work be gentle and consistent rather than rushed. Premium members will also find additional healing resources, practices, and deeper material in the classroom as they’re released. 2. Engage in the Community Spaces This isn’t just a library—it’s a living space. You’re encouraged (but never required) to participate in: - General Discussion – reflections, insights, or things you’re noticing in your practice - Questions – practical questions about the practices or your experience - Wins – small or large shifts: less pain, better sleep, more calm, more awareness You don’t need to be eloquent or “advanced.” Simple, honest sharing is enough. 3. Pace yourself This work is about listening, not pushing. Consistency matters more than intensity. If something feels unclear, slow down and ask. A note on the tone of this space This is a grounded, respectful, adult community. We focus on health, regulation, and cultivation rather than chasing peak experiences. Curiosity is welcome. Pressure is not. If you’re not sure where to begin:👉 Start with the free practices in the Classroom👉 Introduce yourself in General Discussion👉 Let your body lead I’ll be sharing practices, reflections, and guidance regularly. Thanks for being here.Take a breath. Feel your body. Let the healing unfold. — Davey
