A time to sow
It’s November! 🍁🦃
As we approach the holiday season, we get time off of work and school to focus on friends and family, and to reflect on everything we’re grateful for.
And guess what?
So is everybody else who you want to give you a job.
Here’s what this means:
You have about three weeks of applying for jobs to reasonably expect that you might get a call back.
But what if you’re a month out from being ready to apply for jobs?
Save yourself the headache. Don’t cram applications in December (unless you have a specific purpose).
Not every season is a season of production. You have to sow before you can reap. Now is the season of sowing.
Get in. Get started. Study hard. Eat too much turkey. Laugh a lot with family. And prepare to be an A1 candidate by the New Year.
All seasons have their purpose. Don’t wish you were in a different one. Make the most of the one you have, so you can be ready for when that season comes.
Cheers,
Evan
