Anorak DIY
With the cold temps we have been having, Little Brae’s bow needs tillering, but with no heat in the garage, it has to wait. So, the next project is a wool Anorak with liner. Got the pattern from Peek-a-boo patterns. Sent them to the printer and got them printed out on some big paper. I had a roll of clear vinyl that I placed over the pattern sheet. Traced out my patterns for an XXL Anorak. The pattern has lines for small up to XXXL. The vinyl allows me to trace out what I need without destroying the pattern sheet. Once the vinyl patterns were cut out, I transferred to the wool and the liner material. I got my wool off eBay. It is a wool blanket that is 66”x96”. I cut out all the material and tomorrow I will start sewi…..I mean thread injecting. LOL
