I had written a post a while back asking how people deal with heavy oxidation bleeding onto the glass and getting the sleeve and squeegee all jacked up.
It’s a nightmare in my area. It can be like white paint once it gets in the water.
My solution to the problem is magic eraser sponges.
I spritz a little water on the sponge and wipe the frame until it feels smooth. It just takes a few swipes. Then I wipe the frame with a microfiber cloth.
I couldn’t believe how easy and effective this was. I charge around $5 extra per window that’s heavily oxidized. I do this while I’m showing the customer how it makes my hand white just by touching it.
