What if the biggest barrier to high performance isn't a lack of skills... but a LACK of self-belief?
For a while, I stopped believing in myself. Life took me on a roller coaster in last couple of months, and I lost sight of where this community - and I were heading. What brought me back? Doing what I always loved. Writing. Which brought progress to my first book writing for women in menopause. The challenges I faced were exactly the wake-up call I needed. They reminded me why I started. Seeing people like @Emma Fábryová, @Linda Sellers or @Kunda Changwe to continue their inspiring journeys also reminded me that it's okay to fall - as long as we get back up. And lastly it was @krista brea who brought the sparkle back inside me 💫 So i AM incredibly grateful that she is on my life's journey helping me to publish my first book. So I'm back. ☺️ Because sometimes the person who needs believing in most... is yourself. Sometimes life brings lots of "noise" to derail you. But from years I learnt that I somehow always come back even stronger. So here I am. Posts may not be coming here daily, but this community is still ALIVE for sure.

You Get What You Give
On Friday, I had to give a presentation in German for one of my university classes. My topic was "How do states use soft power in politics?" - a subject I genuinely find fascinating. The challenge wasn't the topic itself, but talking about it in German. Presentations already make me nervous, regardless of the language. Speaking in front of a room while trying to explain complex political ideas in a language I'm still learning? That definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone. I knew I wasn't speaking as freely as I wanted to, and I still struggle with maintaining eye contact with the audience because it makes me even more nervous. It's something I want to keep improving. Throughout the semester, whenever one of my classmates gave a presentation, I always started my feedback with the same sentence: "Thank you for the presentation. It was lovely." At first, my classmates and even my teacher smiled because they thought it was a very polite way to begin. Then it was my turn to present. One by one, every single person who gave me feedback, whether they had already presented earlier in the semester or were still waiting for their turn, started with those exact same words: "Thank you for the presentation. It was lovely." I wasn't expecting it at all. It may seem like such a small thing, but hearing those words from everyone genuinely warmed my heart. In that moment, I realised something so simple yet so powerful: You often receive what you choose to give. Whether you call it kindness, positive energy, karma, aura points, or simply human nature, the principle remains the same. The way we communicate has a ripple effect. A few thoughtful words can shape the atmosphere around us and encourage others to respond with the same warmth. It reminded me that kindness isn't only about grand gestures. Sometimes it's as simple as choosing encouraging words, showing appreciation, or making someone feel seen. So here's a little reminder for all of us: Speak kindly. Encourage generously.

Self-worth isn't measured by what happens to us. It's revealed by how we respond to what happens to us.
And often it comes from not knowing who we are. How we were raised. Life experience changed the way how we feel about ourselves. One of the ways how to be self-aware is to notice our pattern. Let's say that you do more for your colleagues, partner or children than you actually receive from them. Building healthy boundaries for yourself is important part of self-worth. To keep you happy. To keep you healthy. To build healthy confidence in you. So you can earning money that mirror your self-worth. Or to have actually supportive friends and relatives that stand by your side because you are worthy of them When we start journaling, it offers us to see our pattern. The level of worthiness and support that we give to our family, friends or colleagues. That is when it all starts. Setting healthy boundaries, by saying gentle "No, not this time, darling" or "This is all that I can do for now, my lovely" Because when we over-give, the ENERGY of life somehow feels it. Through this you are the one who is aware of healthy "give & take" and building healthy self-worth in you. This brings the right level of "give & receive" but for that we also need to allow ourselves to RECEIVE in healthy way.
Self-worth isn't measured by what happens to us. It's revealed by how we respond to what happens to us.
