Breakfast!
Oats are great breakfast that offer fibre, zinc and a great carb to keep those kids full longer. If you add in yogurt and fruit, you’ve got a full meal that not only will keep them full but hit their protein and vit C needs too! What’s your favourite combo?

Peanut allergies have become a very common allergy in kids, did you know that swapping out peanut butter for sunflower butter will still give that nutty taste?! I have had kids question if it was actually safe because they couldn’t taste the difference! School safe as well, so recipes calling for peanut butter or any other nut butter.. try that!

Supper tonight!
Coconut rice, broccoli, cabbage and shrimp! Shrimp and seafood are my kids fave.. so is sushi. Do your kids like seafood?

Cucumber salad
Tonight I was asked if we could have a salad, of course I said yes! Our salad tonight was a cucumber salad, did everyone eat it? No. Was it expected of them? No. Do they need to try a bite? Yes. What we got tonight was help with the prep! was it perfect? Maybe not to Gordon Ramsey but it was to us. Even tho not everyone ate it, it’s ok because there’s real life skills happening.
