Armor Up!
If you woke up today, you're facing a battle. Not against flesh, but against things we can't always see. That is why putting on the Armor of God daily isn't optional ----- it's a must! So, before you get out of bed, SUIT UP! Ephesians 6:11 Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. Ephesians 6:12 For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will be standing firm. The most amazing thing is, GOD HAS ALREADY WON THE BATTLE! HE IS JEHOVA NISSI our Banner! So not only reading PSALM 91 daily like I posted in the previous post, but ARMOR UP! It's a new day! Make the enemy tremble at one who is fully armored and knows their authority!

WORSHIP MUSIC
Worship music is a weapon when battling spiritual warfare. I also see it as another tool to anoint your home as well. When I play worship music, I feel like it is drawing a boundary line once again around my house and the enemy will flee because of it. Worship is viewed as proactive, tearing down spiritual strongholds. Worship shifts and changes the atmosphere, it brings in the presence of God. When my husband and I were going through spiritual warfare, I played worship music every morning. It brought peace into our home, comfort JOY. I also had my first encounter with the Lord while I was washing dishes playing worship music. It was such a beautiful time and I'll always remember it. So when it doubt, worship it OUT. One of my favorite battle songs when I am anointing homes and my own, MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS by Hope Darst check it out

Can I use any oil to anoint my home?
YES! Olive oil is the most common to use when anointing your home. Anointing with oil is a biblical practice that symbolizes God's presence, healing and blessing. It's also a physical act of faith and providing a physical barrier around your home to welcome in the Holy Spirit. I always explain to my kids it's like we are putting up a boundary line the enemy has no right to come near my family! Does that sound familiar? The song Mighty Name of Jesus explains the authority and power we have over spiritual enemies through Jesus Christ! Luke 10:19 What oil do I use when anointing the home? Personally, I use an olive oil blend with Frankincense and myrrh. Why? Not only are these biblical resins, but it held a symbolic meaning, honoring Jesus as King, Priest & sacrifice. Frankincense - symbolizes prayer, intercession and the presence of God Myrrh - represents purification, healing and consecration. While any oil is able to be used, I have used anything that I had on hand. Our God is always with us (Emmanuel). Our God is a present God, a loving God, a mighty God and the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords. I just pray over the oil that I will be using, and tell God to use this oil and cleanse and purify my home.
