Perfectionism Procrastination
Does your desire to be perfect, actually stop from doing anything at all.
Are you an all or nothing person. If you cant do an hours workout you dont bother, vs doing 20 mins. If you can't clean the whole house or room you dont clean anything. If you cant do a long walk, you don't get up?
Do you tell yourself I'll start Monday with a whole new regime, and then quickly become overwhelmed.
This is Perfectionism Procrastination. Its a trauma response and a Protector Part (if anyone wants a IFS - internal family session session just let me know, happy to do so) to stop us in our tracks when we are trying to move forward and hit our goals.
Nothing is perfect thats not the goal, just starting, getting small goals done, and doing what you can, to the best of you ability at that time is fantastic.
Break up things into achievable goals, celebrate each one you hit, and approach each task with a positive energy, stop when you need to.
Self love and support, vs self nagging will get you further.

I see what you can't! Blind spots, buried offers & moves you cant see. Come with the mess. Leave with the map
