Happy Friday OC Fam!
Had a ton of fun with everyone who joined the workshop tonight!
Now let’s hop into Chapter 1 of Obviously Awesome(April Dunford).
This chapter sets the foundation:
Even great offers fail if they’re positioned poorly. Positioning is the act of showing the right people why your offer is perfect for them, so they instantly “get it”.
What this means for coaches:
- If people don’t understand what you do in seconds, you have a positioning problem, not a marketing problem.
- The clearer and more specific you are about explaining what you do, who you do it for and how you do it, the less convincing you have to do.
Key takeaway: When your positioning is clear, your ideal clients feel like you’re the obvious choice before you ever get on a call.
Community Question:
If you couldn’t use the word “coaching” or your niche name, how would you describe what you do so your dream client instantly thinks, “That’s exactly what I need”?
