I’m truly excited to welcome you into this space. Creating this community has been on my heart for a while, and I’m so proud to finally see it come to life.
I’m Latoya Wise, affectionately known as Toya Imani, founder of Black FRMs Connect. I noticed something: there weren’t many of us in the room, and definitely not enough spaces where we could connect, share, and support each other through the unique challenges we face in this work.
So I created Black FRMs Connect to change that. This community is for Black professionals currently in Field Reimbursement and those with relevant experience who are trying to break into the industry. We’re here to share real insights and tools that help us grow, break down barriers to entry and advancement, support those navigating transitions into FRM roles, and create a trusted space where we can be seen, heard, and empowered. Whether you’re well-established or just getting started, you’re welcome here.
