I'm Heather Angel and I'm a newbie to strength training. My purpose is that I want to strengthen my body before I get any older. I'm seeing the generations above me losing their mobility because it wasn't a focus, and quite frankly - I still want to be able to ski (water and snow), kayak, and hike when I'm 85. I'm a reeeeeallly (HAHA) long ways off from that, but I want to start now.
I live a virtual life - home base is Virginia. I'm a bit of a free spirit and love being outdoors as much as humanly possible.
A few personal things about me:
- I love change.
- I’m extremely outgoing and brutally honest.
- I have an eclectic personality – think skulls and hello kitty meet the cheshire cat.
- I’m an adventure junkie and love being in nature.
- If you’re looking for me, you’ll probably find me soaking up some sun on a beach somewhere or in the mountains camping with the bears.
My number one goal for the next 30 days is to start simply (simply start) with kettlebells. I also want to add breathwork into the mix - I miss it.
