I created this space because mothers living with bipolar disorder deserve more than "management plans" and survival stories. We deserve language for what it means to live in rhythm with ourselves- instead of shame. We are not broken; we have a unique rhythm. Our moods, our energy, our tenderness - they all have a pace and a wisdom.
Motherhood isn't the opposite of selfhood. It's where everything we've avoided about ourselves comes up for love. Regulation isn't control, it's safety. It's the quiet place where you can feel the storm and still know you belong to yourself.
I created this space because visibility is medicine. When one mothers tells her truth, seven others exhale. This space is for that exhale - for women who are brilliant and exhausted, creative and healing, all at once.
