Introductions!
Hey everyone - I’m Laura (also known as LC), writer, worldbuilder, and chronic idea-hoarder 😂 I mostly write fantasy/sci-fi/romantasy with big emotions, morally grey characters, and way too much lore. I created this space because writing is better with people who get it. A weird/unique fact about me: I keep my notes app nearby for middle of the night thoughts... and wake up the next morning with sentences like 'the dragon story should be told backwards' and 'show the invention of dreams'. Such useful stuff 😏 Your turn! Reply below with: ✨ name/pen name 📍 where you’re from 📚 what you’re writing 🌀 one weird/fun fact about you Can’t wait to meet you all ✨📖

Welcome to Writemare! (START HERE)
Well howdy - I’m so glad you’re here 🖤 This is a relaxed, supportive writing club for fantasy, sci-fi, romantasy (and anyone who loves big worlds, big emotions, and great storytelling). Writemare meant to feel like a real writing club - not a course, not a hustle, not a productivity grind. - come share work - get feedback & beta readers - talk plot problems - join writing challenges - gush about characters - do little workshops & prompts - build momentum together - and ultimately... get freakin' nerdy. It’s free on purpose - I wanted something flexible, low-pressure, and genuinely helpful. Show up when you can. Disappear when life gets busy. Come back when inspiration hits again. All welcome here. 👋 A little about me I’m Laura - a hobby writer who loves fantasy, sci-fi, romantasy, big intense emotional arcs, deep characters, and worldbuilding rabbit holes. Like most of you, I juggle writing with life, responsibilities, and about a million ideas at once. I built this because I wanted the kind of community I always wished existed - friendly, creative, real, and not intimidating. 📚 How to get started - Introduce yourself in the pinned 'Introductions!' post in the Announcements channel - Check out the workshops (short & practical) - Jump into feedback swaps when you’re ready - Join events or challenges whenever you feel like it There’s no right way to be here - just participate in whatever feels helpful or fun. I’m really excited to grow this little writing club together. Let’s build worlds, break hearts (fictionally), and finally finish some stories (at least that's what I'm telling myself!). Welcome to Writemare 🖤

Requests for Feedback: RULES
Hey writers! This channel is for sharing short sections of your work and getting supportive, constructive feedback from other members of the community. ✅ How it works: - Share up to 5k words or less - Let us know what kind of feedback you’d like (plot, pacing, characters, prose, vibes, etc) - Once 3 people have commented saying they’ll read, that post is “full” - lets spread the love around - After you’ve had 3 readers, avoid reposting the same piece so others get a turn. Of course, if people want to read more privately after - totally up to you both! 💛 Community vibes: - Be kind, honest, and constructive - Specific feedback > vague praise - We’re here to help each other level up (Optional but encouraged: try to give feedback on at least one other piece before posting your own) Can’t wait to read your worlds, characters, and stories ✨📖
Hello from the D.I.M. Multiverse
Greetings, fellow world-builders. I'm Henry Mustafa — known in my circles as The Ultratio, founder of the D.I.M. Multiverse Network. I've been building a fully realized science fiction universe for years, and I joined WriteMare because this feels like the right place to connect with others who understand what it takes to build something from the ground up. What started as a novel has expanded into something much larger: 🎬 A 4K AI-assisted feature film — The Birth of A New Civilization — in three cuts (Action, Novelistic, Festival). Official Selection at LiftOff International Film Festival 2025, and one of the first AI-assisted films to receive official U.S. copyright approval. 📚 An IAP-cited novel entering libraries nationwide — the source code of a 48-universe saga. 📻 A 24/7 radio station with 114 original tracks and 12 genres — music that actually exists within the multiverse. 📺 A continuous playback TV channel (DIMTV) featuring multiverse content. 🎵 A 2,100+ track sync-ready music catalog, 100% owned, ASCAP-registered. 🎰 A blockchain-integrated casino that somehow fits the lore — provably fair, zero wallet friction, built for accessibility. Everything is 100% owned. Everything is live. Everything was built without investors — just vision and execution. You can explore the full network here: 👉 http://dimedia.online I'm here to connect, share ideas, and learn from other writers. If anyone wants to talk world-building, independent production, or how AI fits into creative work — I'm all ears. Looking forward to exploring this universe with you. With gravity and will, Henry Mustafa | The Ultratio Office of the Ultratio Universal Galactic Supreme Council 📧 info@dimedia.online 🌌 48 Multiverses • 100% Owned • Sovereign IP Holla Holla 👊

Hello
Two of my favorite authors are Roald Dahl and Isaac Asimov. Dahl might be known for his children’s books, but I love how dark and twisted his adult short stories can be, full of sharp irony and unsettling endings. Asimov, on the other hand, pulls me into big, intelligent sci-fi worlds with robots, AI, and crumbling empires, always asking deeper questions about logic, humanity, and the future. I think Man from the South and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy will always inspire me...how about you guys? I also like a good Gothic Horror Novel : The one I am working on is called: Harrowfield (I write as Athena - the goddess of knowledge) Harrowfield When archivist Maren Calloway is hired to catalogue the private collection of a decommissioned Victorian asylum in the English Cotswolds, she expects damp boxes and fading paperwork. But the archive doesn't cooperate. Patient journals don't match official records. Architectural drawings show rooms with no doors. And the deeper she digs, the more the building responds. A gothic horror novel about institutional amnesia, the architecture of forgetting, and seven patients who vanished from the record but never left the stone.....
