Title: When Was the Last Time You Sat With God — Without Rushing?
It’s easy to approach our Bibles with a checklist mindset — study, highlight, prepare, finish the page.
But today, I want to gently ask you something different.
When was the last time you simply sat with God’s Word?
No pressure to produce something beautiful.
No need to perform.
No perfectly designed journal spread.
Just you, Scripture, and a willing heart.
This week, I’d love for us to practice something together:
Choose one verse that truly speaks to you.
Write it slowly and intentionally.
Underline the word or phrase that stands out most.
Then pause and ask:
“Lord, what are You revealing to me about Your heart?”
Bible journaling isn’t about creating the most aesthetic page.
It’s about creating space for a meaningful, personal conversation with God.
I’d love to hear what you’re reflecting on this week.
Share your verse in the comments so we can encourage one another.
