7 contributions to Bible Journaling Circle
Reflecting Through Scripture
Bible journaling creates space to slow down and truly absorb the Word. Writing reflections and insights helps the message sink deeper and become personal. What scripture are you reflecting on this week, and what is it teaching you?

Bringing Scripture to Life
Bible journaling is a beautiful blend of creativity and devotion. It allows scripture to move from the page into your heart in a personal way. Through art, notes, or reflection, the process slows you down and invites deeper understanding. When you journal, do you focus more on artistic expression or written reflection, and what does this practice mean to you?
This space is closing in month
Hi lovely ladies 💛 I wanted to share a gentle update with you all. After a lot of prayer and reflection, I’ve decided to simplify things behind the scenes and bring everything I create into one main home — the Creative Sanctuary. The last day is 17th March 2026. Because of this, the Bible Journaling Circle will be closing as a standalone space. This has been a really lovely, meaningful container, and I’m so grateful for every single one of you who has been part of it. Truly. 💛 Here’s what this means for you: ✨ You’ll have one month from today to download any devotionals or resources you’d like to keep✨ After that, the Circle will be closed and no new content will be added If you’re already a Creative Sanctuary member, you don’t need to worry — all the journals and devotionals are available there, along with all the workshops, creative sessions, and additional resources. The Sanctuary is now the main space where everything will continue to grow and deepen. Thank you again for being part of this space and for the heart you’ve brought into it. It really has meant a lot. With love,Bev 💛

@Beverley Jessup Thank you for sharing this update so openly and thoughtfully. It’s clear how much care and prayer has gone into this decision. While it’s always bittersweet to see a space close, I truly appreciate the clarity and intention behind bringing everything into the Creative Sanctuary. Growth sometimes means simplifying, and it’s inspiring to see you lead with such purpose. The Bible Journaling Circle has clearly been a meaningful and life-giving space, and that speaks so much to your heart and leadership. I’m grateful to have been part of it and look forward to continuing the journey in its new home. Wishing you continued grace and wisdom as this next chapter unfolds.
WHEN YOUR BIBLE FEELS DISTANT
Can I be real? Lately, I open my Bible, stare at the page, and feel... nothing. No spark. No insight. Just words that feel far away. My heart wants to connect, but my mind is foggy, distracted, exhausted. Friend, your quiet time doesn't need to feel spiritual to be spiritual. God isn't grading your emotions—He's meeting you right here, in the mess. So here's a gentle question: When was the last time Scripture felt hard or hollow... and what tiny thing helped you show up anyway? No perfect answers needed. Just honest hearts.

WHEN PRAYER FEELS HARD.
Can I be honest? Some days, my prayer time doesn’t look perfect at all. I sit down, ready to pray, and… nothing. The words won’t come. My mind is running in ten different directions. My heart feels heavy. So instead of forcing it, I reach for my journal. I start writing whatever is really there. No filters. No “church language.” Sometimes I doodle what I’m feeling. Sometimes I just sit quietly and ask God to speak through His Word. And somehow, every single time, He meets me there. Bible journaling stopped being about making pretty pages for me. It became about making space. Space to breathe. Space to release what’s weighing on me. Space to actually hear Him. Does anyone else have days like this? What does your quiet time look like when prayer feels hard? I’d really love to know.
