Back from traveling and jumping back into our weekly check-in.
I know the last week or two has been a little quiet on here — life happens and I was traveling so I'll take some of the blame for that. But we're back.
For this week I want to keep it simple. Tell me one thing, just one, that you did with your money in the last two weeks that you're proud of or that you want to be honest about. Good or bad. Saved something, overspent somewhere, made a decision you're not sure about. No judgment, just accountability.
I'll go first: This week I started booking flights, activities and accommodation for the first trips I will be taking while abroad for the semester. I spent about $1,000 just this week on travel related expenses. But I have been preparing for this for months and pulling money out of my designated travel fund!
