Today’s Reflection: The Hands That Care for Everyone Else
To all the massage therapists, caregivers, mothers, nurturers, healers, and women who spend their days holding space for everyone else…
Today is your reminder that nurturing is not weakness. It’s power. It’s presence. It’s the ability to care deeply while still carrying the weight of your own responsibilities, exhaustion, and emotions.
But here’s the truth most of us forget:
You cannot continue pouring from a body, mind, and spirit that never gets refilled.
So today, let this be your permission slip to slow down for a moment.
Stretch your body.Drink the water.Eat the meal.Take the walk.Say no without guilt.Rest without needing to earn it.
Self-care is not selfish for a massage therapist. It is career longevity. It is nervous system regulation. It is injury prevention. It is emotional sustainability.
The way you care for yourself teaches others how healing should feel.
And whether you’re a mother by blood, by energy, by profession, or simply by the way you show up for others every day… your nurturing matters.
Today’s Reflection Question:What is one way you can care for yourself this week with the same intention you give your clients?
Happy Mother’s Day to all the nurturers here in Skool and in the world. 💙
