Too many Black women have been taught to normalize disrespect, over-explain their pain, and survive environments that slowly drain their peace. This checklist is designed to help you identify emotional exhaustion, workplace microaggressions, performative allyship, toxic relationships, and environments where you are constantly expected to shrink yourself to make others comfortable. Some situations deserve boundaries. Some deserve distance. Some require documentation, advocacy, support, healing, or an exit strategy. Answer based on how you are consistently treated now, not on titles, history, promises, or potential. HOW TO USE THIS CHECKLIST Check YES for every question that reflects your current reality most of the time. Add your YES answers and review the scoring section honestly. Important Reminder: One apology, one compliment, or one “good day” does not erase a repeated pattern of disrespect.
